Au début de sa détention, il est proposé à toute personne détenue un bilan de santé relatif à sa consommation de produits stupéfiants, de médicaments psychotropes, d'alcool et de tabac. Ce bilan, effectué à titre préventif, dans un but de santé publique et dans l'intérêt du patient, est confidentiel.
