Le repos récupérateur est une restitution de temps égale ou équivalente, accordée par le chef de service à l'agent public qui doit, en dehors des heures normales de service et pour une affaire s'y rapportant, répondre à une convocation officielle émanant d'un tribunal, d'un juge, d'un expert, d'un médecin de la police ou d'une administration.
