Les dispositions du chapitre III du titre IV du livre Ier et des articles L. 144-1, L. 153-3 à L. 154-1, L. 155-1, L. 162-1, L. 162-3, L. 163-1 à L. 163-9, L. 172-2 et L. 173-1 ne sont pas applicables aux autorisations d'exploitation.
Les installations et ouvrages de recherche et d'exploitation minière soumis à autorisation d'exploitation font l'objet d'une procédure d'abandon de travaux spécifique.
