Les retraités de l'administration des douanes candidats à la réserve opérationnelle ne doivent pas avoir fait l'objet d'une sanction disciplinaire pour des motifs incompatibles avec l'exercice des missions dans la réserve opérationnelle.
Ils conservent le grade qu'ils détenaient en activité.
